Hotel Information

AAA are utilizing five hotels near the Tampa Convention Center. The Tampa Marriott Water Street will be considered the headquarter hotel for the meeting. Meeting activities will take place in the Marriott Water Street as well as the Tampa Convention Center. The number of rooms within the discounted room block are limited, and rooms may sell out before the Sunday, October 27, 2024, reservation deadline. To ensure availability at the group rate, please make your reservations as soon as possible.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

In an effort to ensure that all reserved rooms in the block get used, there is a $30 cancellation fee for any rooms reserved in the block that are not cancelled before October 21, 2024. If your plans should change and you need to cancel your reservation, any reservations cancelled before October 21, 2024 will not incur a cancellation fee.

To secure your housing accommodation follow these easy steps below.

• Visit the housing portal at the link above and use the same email address you used to register or plan to use to register.
• Make your hotel selection and follow the prompts to complete your registration. You will receive a confirmation email once your reservation has been made.

The hotel reservation deadline is Sunday, October 27, 2024, and you must use our housing portal to obtain discounted rates, as contacting hotels directly will not provide access to our discounted rates.

Hotels within the Block

Book Within the Block

AAA has contracted a limited number of sleeping rooms at a discounted rate at various properties within close proximity to the Tampa Convention Centre. Each of these hotels has been visited and inspected to ensure attendee safety and their brand standard of quality. Staying at these contracted hotels is highly encouraged. When you book outside of the block or make reservations elsewhere, AAA does not get credit for those rooms. When the minimum number of contracted rooms goes unsold, the association must pay penalty fees to the hotels. In addition, the inability to prove the actual number of occupied hotel rooms by our attendees each year weakens our negotiating power for favorable rates and our ability to contract convention centers for future annual meetings. Please reserve your sleeping room at one of the official hotels to keep overall meeting costs for attendees as low as possible. Finally, hotels other than those in our block, or other accommodations such as those found on Airbnb or VRBO have not been vetted and the AAA cannot speak to the safety or quality of those properties.

AAA has partnered with ConferenceDirect as it’s official housing provider for the annual meeting. You should use only the link on this page to secure your housing with one of our contracted hotels. ConferenceDirect and Passkey are our housing partners providing technology and room block management. If you receive any solicitation from any other company claiming to be the official housing provider, please report them to the AAA Meetings Team immediately.

Need a Roommate?

Looking for a roommate to help offset the cost of attending the Annual Meeting? The AAA has set up an online portal for attendees to share information with anyone wishing to share a hotel room within the housing block.
