What is the General Call
Open to all topics the submission to the General Call can cover any area within the four fields of Anthropology, and are not required to be related to the theme “Ghosts.”
- Membership & Registration: All session participants must be AAA members and registered for the Annual Meeting by August 31, 11:59 PM ET. Membership is required to participate. Non-members can attend as general attendees.
- Submission Deadline & Notifications: Acceptance notifications will be sent the week of July 22.
- In-Person Event: The 2025 Annual Meeting will take place in New Orleans, in-person only.

Group Submission
- Length of 90 minutes
- Oral Presentation Session
- Roundtable/Town Hall
