Your next steps to prepare for your participation are:
Log in to the Speaker Resource Center (<–click here!)
- You will have until Wednesday, September 13, 2023, to complete your tasks in the Speaker Resource Center
- Agree to the Code of Conduct, Photo Release, and Liability Waiver (Required during registration)
- Upload your photo and bio – this information will appear in the app (Optional)
- During the registration process attendees can request language and access services for the sessions they plan to attend. To honor these requests, you may be required to provide access materials for your portion of the session.
- All participants of the 2023 AAA/CASCA Annual Meeting are strongly encouraged to provide access materials for your portion of your session and join us in making the annual meeting more accessible for all attendees. We encourage you to start working on your accessible materials now. Resources on how to create accessible presentation materials are available on the Annual Meeting website. (Optional, but highly encouraged)

All annual meeting presenters, whether in-person or virtual, are strongly encouraged to create presentation materials that have accessibility requirements for diverse attendees automatically built into your materials and the fabric of the whole meeting. This creates an environment of inclusivity, where as many people as possible are able to participate in all sessions regardless of accessibility and language needs. It also allows your work to reach a broader audience. By following the link, you will find templates for your materials that you are welcome to use (directly or as inspiration), as well both simple and in-depth explanations of how to create materials as well as why the guidelines are the way they are. For those who are interested, there are also links to some of the research behind the creation of accessible materials.
